Chaos Knight cont.

So I've finished the assembling of the steed and knight for most part. I'm leaving his shield off and one of the reigns for the horse so will be able to reach the areas underneath. I did run into a snag while assembling the horse...and I wasn't too happy. It's nothing major like a missing part or huge air bubble on a corner piece. What it is was though is one of the reigns was longer than needed. Now I looked back over the mount and was looking if I didn't fit something correctly or not enough. Only thing found was that might have helped to improve the fitting of the reign is the trimming the collar underneath the horses neck. There's a small gap I could have maybe shaved but I would have also had to cut the inside of it as well a good amount. This gap though was only a couple of centimeters. The reign however is a 1/4 too long...that's rite a frickn 1/4 of an inch!!!!

That's ridiculous. Not sure how this happened..but no use crying over spilled milk. Only thing I could do was trim the reign. For the most part I'm pleased with it for now. I've filled in the gaps and after sanding everything and smoothing I'll work some more on it and make it look more uniform with the miniature. For now here are some before and after pics of the horse with the gaps to show what I had to fill.
